These sessions are ideal for amateur dramatics groups, community groups and organisations looking for ways to build confidence and connect with others. Participants will engage in several theatre and drama exercises and games, which aim to boost confidence and allow individuals to play and have fun!

Four people standing in a line, each with a hand on their head, in a room with beige walls and a carpeted floor. They are smiling and appear to be engaging in a dance or exercise activity.

What you'll get

The duration of the sessions is 2-3 hours each, and will include the following:

Icebreaker and warm-up games, which are designed to help participants get to know each other and allow them to engage in play to help 'loosen them up' for the rest of the session.

Acting games and exercises, which will allow them to improvise scenes (in groups and pairs) using story prompts and ideas from the group.

These sessions can also be adapted to work on specific scenes for groups who are rehearsing or preparing for a performance, to help with the rehearsal process.

A woman with blonde hair wearing a white tank top and denim shorts is talking to a group of young girls and a man in a room with orange and white walls and exposed beams, possibly at a social gathering or workshop.
